In Ottawa, we're focused on food and goods rescue and building strong networks with community partners to meet the growing needs of families and individuals. In 2024, we:
Partnered with organizations like Amazon, local COBS Bakery franchisees, the Canadian Tire Centre, TD Place and others to recover over $4 million worth of food and essential goods
Supported local agencies with weekly deliveries, strengthening Ottawa’s food security network
We're continuing to grow, and need your help as we work to deliver hope and restore dignity this year and beyond.Ways you can help:
Donate financially: Every dollar helps us expand food and goods recovery, transportation, and distribution to agencies.
Volunteer locally: Support our Ottawa team with warehouse operations and deliveries.
Workplace involvement: Encourage your company to support Lionhearts through payroll giving, staff fundraisers, or days of caring.
Partner with us: Businesses can strengthen our city by supporting local programs through sponsorships or in-kind services.
Together, we can expand food and goods rescue across Ottawa and strengthen the network of agencies that deliver hope and dignity to the vulnerable neighbours who need them most.
